Co-engineering

Co-engineering

An engineer or constructor who designs a new product may not always have knowledge of the very latest production techniques at his disposal. We do at Kepser. Having extensive up-to-date knowledge of production techniques can also influence the final design. Our co-engineers enjoy sharing their knowledge of new production techniques with engineers and constructors. That way, we can be your committed sparring partner in tackling feasibility throughout the repetitive design process.

Kepser specialises in more than just sheet metal and profile work – we also have the people and machines we need to carry out machining processes such as turning and milling in-house. Because we have our own CNC machines, we are not dependent on suppliers and are always in control.

We have the following production techniques in-house:

  • Laser cutting (sheet metal work)
  • Laser cutting (tube and profile)
  • Shearing
  • Deburring
  • Edge finishing and bevelling
  • Drilling
  • Rolling
  • Turning
  • Milling
  • Welding
Assembly

Assembly

We are increasingly being asked by customers whether we can not only produce the machine parts that they need but also assemble them to create a complete finished product. The answer to that is a resounding ‘yes’. If required, we can buy in any parts that may be needed for us to get on with assembly. We have a skilled construction and assembly department with all the necessary specialist knowledge and experience.

Ultimately, we make complete finished products, with hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical components too. Naturally, we inspect and test our assemblies extremely thoroughly. And we package them exactly as you want us to, enclosing the correct documents and applying the right stickers. For some customers, we also take care of stock control, distribution and even the maintenance of finished products. Labour-intensive work that we would gladly take off your hands to make your life easier.

Quality and control

Quality and control

To ensure the highest quality, each product is assessed after every operation. By adding these moments of quality control as standard to every stage of the process, we can guarantee that the end product meets the requirements set. Read more about the standards we apply here.

A high quality product begins with the origin of the material used. The origin of all materials that we process at Kepser is known and recorded in our registration and tracking system. Because this system seamlessly connects with our ERP system, we ensure that we always deliver materials according to specifications.

Packaging and delivery

Packaging and delivery

Kitting is the term used to refer to the bundling, assembling, packaging and stocking of various items within a single delivery. Or sprayed intermediate products can be supplied to an assembly department complete with fixings. Very useful – and it can save you a lot of time and effort as well as costs too.

We use kitting ourselves to increase the efficiency of our own logistics but we also supply products and parts in kits so that our customers can benefit from better efficiency too. Kitting can be used to supply a welding shop with all the sheet metal and profile parts it needs in one go, for example. Kits are also provided with the correct labels, instructions, documents and packaging required in order to save you even more time.
